How does local delivery work?

Painful Pleasures now offers local delivery to customers living within 20 miles of our warehouse in Hanover, Maryland. Simply add your desired items to cart, head to checkout and enter your shipping location. If you're in an eligible zip code, Local Delivery will show as a shipping option.

Are all products eligible for delivery?

We're unable to offer local delivery on some products, specifically large furniture items, autoclaves, anodizers, thermal printers, and products with a value of $1,000 or more like some Tattoo Machines. We're also unable to deliver anodized jewelry due to the production time of anodization.

Where do you deliver?

Customers living within 20 miles of our warehouse in Hanover, Maryland can have their orders delivered. If you're in the eligible delivery area, Local Delivery will show as an option at checkout. If you're outside of this area, stay tuned as we look to expand our delivery area in the future.

Who delivers my order?

Our delivery partner will dispatch your order to a trusted delivery service, usually Uber.

Will you update me on my delivery progress?

Yes, you will receive delivery updates from our partner as soon as your order has been picked up and a driver is on their way. You can track progress of your delivery via the secure link sent via text message from our delivery partner.

How long does delivery take?

When you select Local Delivery at checkout, an estimated delivery time will display. Most orders placed before noon ET will deliver on the same day, orders placed after noon ET will delivery in the first possible window the following business day. After placing your order, you'll receive a text message from our delivery partner with additional details about your delivery, including estimated time of delivery and other status updates.

When do you deliver?

Orders are only delivered Monday thru Friday, excluding major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our website will display Local Delivery as an option 24/7, but the earliest estimated delivery date will display with this option.

What if I'm not available when my order is schedule for delivery?

We require a signature when an order is dropped-off, you must be available to sign for your order. If no one is available and your order is returned to our warehouse you'll need to arrange to pick up your order or to have it re-delivered for an additional fee. Orders that are not returned and not picked-up or rescheduled for a new delivery will be processed as a return minus a 20% restocking fee and the cost of delivery.

Because Local Delivery orders are picked and packed quickly, any request to cancel or reschedule a delivery must be done right away. In some cases we may be unable to cancel or reschedule an order. Do I have to sign for my order?

Yes, you will have to sign for your order when it is delivered. Please watch for updates via text message regarding delivery progress.
